The 5th Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) will be jointly organized by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the European Commission with the support of the EUSAIR Facility Point, in Belgrade (Serbia), under the slogan “Strengthening the resilience of the Adriatic and Ionian Region through cooperation”.

 

In particular, the plenary and thematic sessions will focus on the digital and green transition, the regional response to the COVID-19 crisis, macro-regional cooperation in relation to EU post-2020 strategic and legal framework, the new methodology for enlargement and the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, as well as the recovery of the cultural and creative industries in the region.

There will be plenary sessions, opportunities to network with other participants and virtual exhibition stands to present and promote organisations and projects which contribute to the development of the region. The Interreg MED project TOURISMED, which tested and transfered a fishing tourism model in six countries during two years, will participate in the event.
