The 13th October from 11.30 to 13.00, together with ENI CBC MED and Adrion, we will hold our very first joint online workshop where we will present stories of cooperation supporting green transition across and beyond the European Union.
The workshop aims to set out our collective achievements reached through networks, thematic communities and clusters in three areas of the EU Green Deal: circular economy, green entrepreneurship, and sustainable transport.
We will try and answer questions such as "How can we build a community of resilient people in the Mediterranean area? How can we ease the shift to a greener way of living?"
We will present the successful experience of our Green Growth community on the circular economy topic, ENI CBC MED their awarded projects on green entrepreneurship business models and ADRION the Thematic Cluster on Sustainable Transport solutions.
Finally, the session will shed light on the 3 programmes environmental-related priorities for the new EU 2021-2027 period, insisting on the importance of synergies and cooperation in order to maximize available funding and the impact of projects for a greener, more sustainable development across the Mediterranean region.
The discussion will be moderated by Mr. Jean-Pierre Halkin, Head of Unit ‘Macro-regions, Transnational/Interregional/External Cooperation, Enlargement’ at the European Commission’ DG REGIO, will feature the following speakers:
